Vintage Reverse Swirl pattern cruet (without stopper) in the hard to find canary (aka vaseline) opalescent color of glass. The Reverse Swirl pattern was made by the Buckeye Glass Company in the 1888 to 1900 time frame. It glows that brilliant yellow-green color under a blacklight as can be seen in the picture below. It measures approximately 5 inches tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and shows very little if any signs of wear. It doesn't have a stopper and none of the reference books I've looked at (Heacock, ect...) show these cruets with their original stopper so just about any stopper you can find that fits works for most collectors. How does anyone know what the original stopper looked like if they don't have a picture of them in the reference books?
