A depression era elegant pink glass Luanna bud vase in the Cathay etch made by the Morgantown Glass Company in the 1930s. This vase has also been identified as the Peacock Reverse (aka Delilah Bird) pattern made by the Paden City Glass Company and can be found in the book "Very Rare Glassware of the Depression Years" by the author Gene Florence, copyright 1988 with 1991 values (it is the book with the gray cover). It measures approximately 9 3/4 inches tall. It has no chips, cracks or cloudiness and shows very little if any signs of usage or wear.
