Paden City yellow color glass luncheon plate in the Gothic Garden pattern. Paden City made this pattern in 1930s. It measures approximatley 8 5/16" across from side to side. The plate is on the Mrs. B no. 411 blank. Plates in this pattern were etched in 2 different ways. Some had the complete etching on each corner and others have a border etching that goes all around the plate. The 8 1/2 inch luncheon plates have the border etching all around the plate as the border was not wide enough for the complete etching. You can reference the "ENCYCLOPEDIA OF Paden City Glass" book by Carrie and Jerry Domtitz for more information on this pattern. All items available in this listing are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and show very little if any signs of usage. This is original depression era glass and not a reproduction.
