Elegant Heisey crystal glass Bridal Tray plate in the Crystolite pattern. Crystolite was made by the Heisey Glass Company from the 1930s to 1957. The plate has the Greek initials "BEO" engraved in the middle which stands for the Beta Sigma Phi organization. It measures approximately 14" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and shows only an occaisional minor faint scratch. Overall the plate has been well cared for over the years. These trays were given as a wedding present to members of the international womens organization Beta Sigma Phi. They are cultural, service and philanthropic oriented with endowments for medical research around the world. They were founded in 1931 and the headquarters are in Kansas City, MO. They are not a member of the greek organizations and membership is open to any woman.
