Depression Era black amethyst color glass cup and saucer in the Mt. Pleasant pattern. Mt. Pleasant was made by the L.E. Smith Glass Company from the 1920s to 1934. The cup measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in diameter at the top and 2 3/16 inches tall. The saucer is the style that has a raised ridge near the edge on the bottom side, has no rays in the center on the bottom side and measures approximately 6 1/4 inches in diameter (see picture below). All items available in this listing have no chips or cracks and show very little if any signs of usage or wear. This is original depression era glass and not a reproduction.
