Depression Era blue glass butter dish with lid in the Aunt Polly pattern. Aunt Polly was made by the U.S. Glass Company in the late 1920s. It measures approximately 4 1/2 inches tall with the lid on and 7 inches in diameter. Overall it shows extremely little if any signs of scratches or wear. The mould seam edges at the bottom of the butter dish lid have the minor roughnes normally found on the seams of this pattern pattern (I don't know if any of it are actual fleabites or not as they pretty much come out of the mould this way on this pattern). This piece came out of my collection and the butter dish bottom had a small flake on the underside of the outside rim edge which I had professionally buffed out (I can't tell where it was at but I know I had it done a few years back). As mentioned above the butter dish is not quite perfect but overall I would say it is very close. This is original depression era glass and not a reproduction.
